Luuk Arce

Luuk Arce is an artist and native New Yorker. Raised in the 1970’s and 80’s, Arce witnessed many social and musical changes, particularly the birth of hip-hop, disco and new wave. His artistic influences include graffiti/street art, cartooning, illustration, psychedelic art, comedy, music, and commercial graphic design.

Arce attended York College of the City University of New York for his BA in Studio Art. He specializes in illustration and graphic design using Adobe Creative Cloud. He uses drawing and painting skills in various media including his signature art work on clothing. Arce won the the Lehman College AIDS Awareness Day Poster contest in 2008. He was the winner of the Lehman College Mascot Drawing contest in 2010. He and his partner run the UFO Radio station powered by Live365.

Arce is currently learning DJing on Udemy and Digital DJ. He dabbles in improv and comedy at the People’s Improv Theater.

Art is never static because life is constantly in motion.
